Old Boys contribute to Rondebosch in various ways, including serving on various committees and trusts.
Stephen Duffett, John Benn, André Ross and Arundal Thom and other Old Boys served on the Old Boys’ Union Centenary Appeal Fund committee which raised funds for the benefit of Rondebosch in celebration of the Union’s Centenary during 2009.
Jock McKenzie is chairman of the Rondebosch Boys Schools Education Trust which prioritises and co-ordinates major fundraising activities for the benefit of Rondebosch. The late former South African Chief Justice Michael Corbett, Dick Goss, former head of South African Breweries, and John Benn were the previous chairmen. The other trustees are Stephen Duffett, Ken Andrew, John Le Roux, Jock McKenzie, Dennis Nick, Bertie van der Merwe, Anton Melck, Mike Reeler and the Chairmen of the Prep and High School Governing Bodies.
