The late Tickey de Jager was responsible for the planting of many of the trees which are a magnificent feature of the Rondebosch campus.  Special labels have been produced identifying the trees and their countries of origin and these are being attached to several hundred trees on the Rondebosch grounds stretching from the main entrance and Canigou down to the canal.
