Some of Rondebosch’s pavilions, halls and fields are available to hire to Old Boys and to friends of Rondebosch for functions such as reunions, weddings and anniversary celebrations.  Facilities may also be rented for corporate events and film production.  See here for more information

School sport facilities such as fields, courts and the swimming and water polo pools are for the use of Rondebosch boys at all times and are not available to Old Boys and others without specific prior arrangement with the school.  Casual sports, such as touch rugby, may be played on Lower Desert and the other upper fields when these are not being used by the school or by school boys.

Facilities are generally not available during the June and December / January holidays as ground staff may not be available for unlocking, locking, cleaning and security purposes. Reunion groups who would like to have their gatherings at the school are required to pre-book facilities through the school.  The E1942 Centenary Pavilion and swimming pool area are popular venues.  A nominal fee is payable.
